Job Description

The Recruitment Co are recruiting on behalf of our client in Widnes CheshireWe are recruiting for a site operations and compliance officer to them on a permanent basis.Salary & Benefits:upto £32,000 per annum ( dependant on experience)

Hours of work:Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm and 9am until 5pm ( rotating weekly)Reporting to the site operations supervisor you will be responsible for:
  • Schedule Management of customer orders
  • Driving site performance across raw material supply and manufacturing throughputs with thedevelopment and integration of KPI dashboards.
  • Involvement with recruitment of new employees, including interviews and communication withrecruitment agencies.
  • Carry out both compliance and SOP training for new starters and all required refresher training.
  • Make sure training records and the training matrix are kept up to date with weekly reviews with thetraining co-ordinator.
  • Monitor and report on Absence Management across the site to HR.
  • Plan and co-ordinate all Health & Safety tasks/annual compliance checks including LOLER checkswith all records updated and maintained, in conjunction with the maintenance department.
  • To liaise with the suppliers of uniforms and H&S equipment for the team and to maintain minimumstock levels.
  • Create Purchase Orders and Goods Receipt Notes where applicable.
Experience & Skills
  • Experienced in lean manufacturing
  • Supervisory experience is desired
  • Highly motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal
  • communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
  • Strong ICT skills across Microsoft and ERP systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build constructive working relationships and work collaboratively with others
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work both within a team and unsupervised
