Job Description

Domus Recruitment are working alongside a national charity based in the Northwest England, for a Partnerships & Community Development Specialist. You will manage, coordinate, and assist with a range of programmes, partnerships and activities that are designedto support people who access care & support, and their paid and family carers, to lead the best life possible.Key Responsibilities of a Partnerships & Community Development Specialist:

  • Programme or partnership coordination and delivery: You will support the implementation and day-to-day coordination of projects that are developed within the Partnerships and Communities Department.
  • Programme / partnership design: You will be empowered to design and implement projects and partnerships, ensuring they are relevant, sustainable, and impactful. To achieve this, you will plan, co-produce and coordinate these projects effectively, and ensurestrong relationship management with your key stakeholders (including participants, colleagues, families, and our delivery partners).
  • Partnership development: You will identify new collaborations or ideas that can impact our organisation and the people we support. You will work closely with the people we support, our colleagues and our wider stakeholders, to ensure that your work is builtaround their needs, goals, and aspirations.
  • Administrative support: You will provide practical and administrative support to your wider team, where necessary, including assisting the Director of Partnerships and Communities.
Partnerships & Community Development Specialist Requirements:
  • Our chosen candidate will be able to demonstrate relatable career experience, which will enable them to be a success in this role.
  • Creating and delivering projects or programmes that are designed to make a difference to people’s lives.
  • Working in communications, engagement, or events roles.
  • Be able to create and support the delivery of a range of projects – Our work is diverse - from creating educational workshops to hosting corporate volunteering with businesses, to delivering campaigns on social issues to developing local community groups.
  • Have strong administration skills and attention to detail – Great projects and campaigns are built on good organisation.
