Job Description

PSi Talent are currently seeking experienced time-served Welder Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing/engineer company in Wickford.Welder Fabricators Job roleAs a Welder Fabricator you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards and precision. The is a duel role and will require welding and fabricating from our Workshop facilities based in Essexand also supporting field service activities and projects. Welder Fabricators Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Proficient in reading engineering manufacturing drawings for the production of parts and components.
  • The successful applicants must have a good amount of experience in MIG/MAG welding, must be able to work from engineering drawings on their own initiative and carry out all tasks to a high standard.
  • Calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work to very high tolerances.
  • High attention to detail and appreciation of health & safety.
  • Execute all work professionally.
Welder Fabricators Person Specifications
  • The successful applicants must have a good experience in MIG/MAG welding, must be able to work from engineering drawings on their own initiative and carry out all tasks to a high standard.
  • Have relevant knowledge, training and experience in general welding and fabrication both Workshop environment and Field Service at various customers sites.
  • Time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise, logical manner both verbally and written.
  • Be self-motivated to work individually but adaptable to work as part of a team.
  • Have a good level of fitness due to the physical demands of the job.
Welder Fabricators Responsibilities and Duties:

Welder Fabricators Package
  • Salary: £35k to £45k.
  • 28 days Annual holidays + statutory/ bank holidays.
  • 40-hour week during normal office hours Monday - Friday.
  • Uncapped overtime structure.
