Stores Operative - Finished GoodsLocation: Wickford, Essex, SS11 8YBSalary: Competitive, DOEContract: Full time, Permanent, Monday - FridayChester Hall Precision Engineering Limited is a world class leading international supplier of complex aircraft components and has specialised in this field since 1974, utilising the latest techniques and equipment to provide customers worldwide with innovative,advanced technology solutions.We are currently looking for an experienced Stores Operative (Finished Goods) to join our busy and successful team.As our Stores Operative you will be responsible for:

  • Control the receipt of goods.
  • Check the goods received.
  • Maintain stock levels.
  • Update inventory system.
  • Resolve discrepancies.
  • Part mark products.
  • Package products.
  • Pick / kit products in preparation of assembly.
In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that applicants have the following attributes: -
  • Experience in stores activities.
  • Basic IT skills / Computer literacy (knowledge of inventory management systems).
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and quickly.
  • Good levels of concentration.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise.
