Job Description

Software Engineer - C#, .NET, Any OOP language - Permanent, Bedford £40kA exciting new role with a global leading information and security FTSE 500 company are looking to expand their software engineering team to evolve their software solutions.They are looking for two software engineers to work within an agile framework, passionate about technology as well the social aspect of developing and always strives to deliver solution-based software systems to a high standard.Key responsibilities:

  • Performing the software engineering functions including: design, development, testing, troubleshooting and debugging of software programs for key new software products.
  • Makes sure all principles, standards, processes and procedures are adhered throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Collaborates with teams in different locations and time zones.
  • Efficient, excellent communication, relationship building skillsets to work with further software developers, product engineers making sure all security principles are applied at a high consistent standard.
Key Technical skills:
  • Strong software development principles and practices using C#
  • Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming
  • At least a minimum of 3 years development, enterprise level software solutions
  • Experienced in one or more of the following: XAML, JSON, Micro Services, REST services, Windows Services
Desirable Skills:
  • C++ Programming Skills
  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or key additional experience
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker and Microservices
  • Knowledge of SOA and bus architectures
  • Data modelling and data queries SQL and NoSQL
