Job Description

Feeling bored in your current role Is your job repetitive Or are you just fed up with a long commute Give our opportunity a look, it could be just the change you need!Our 3rd Line IT Support IT Support Engineer and Cloud Services Analyst will often be involved in new projects as well as research and development of new solutions.The job will offer an interesting and varied workload for a proactive candidate.We are offering up to £40k max for this particular role depending on skills and experience+ Smartphone + Travel Expenses + Training + Certifications.This is a Monday to Friday office hours position with the opportunity for occasional overtime.Generally our 3rd Line IT Support and Cloud Services Analyst will be working 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday but this can be flexible to a degree.Our office hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday on a staggered start.The candidate must have at least 3 years recent solid PC and Windows Server experience in an IT Support Role.Technical Skills (more is better)

  • Microsoft Server Operating systems (Server 2012/2016/2019).
  • Microsoft Desktop Operating systems (7/8/10)
  • Microsoft Office Products (2013/2016/2019)
  • Microsoft 365 Services (formerly Microsoft Office 365)
  • Must have a Valid UK Driving license and access to a car
  • Good working knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
  • Good working knowledge of Firewalls and VPNs
  • Virtualisation Technologies experience IE Hyper-V core / VMWare
  • Cloud Services experience (Specifying / Configuring and Supporting)
  • Good knowledge of Configuring ADSL/VDSL Routers
  • Good working knowledge of troubleshooting various Network Printers/Scanners
  • Remote Desktop Services & Remote App experience advantageous.
  • Microsoft Qualifications a distinct advantage
  • Experience of Connectwise (PSA) and Labtech (RMM) advantageous
  • Experience of Other PSA / RMM products beneficial.

  • Reliable and able to work both with and without guidance.
  • Able to manage and work within stressful environments.
  • Able to explain issues and resolutions to customers with varying technical skills

  • Ability to work within a team - ensuring knowledge is shared.
  • We provide remote and onsite IT support to businesses, Schools and Charities in the Essex area.We are an established Managed Services IT Company, established for over 14 years based near Chelmsford, Essex.(We are relocating to a larger office in Wickford Essex SS11 8YD in the very near future)This role will require some travel to customer sites for but the role is primarily office based (expenses paid).We will actively support any staff member who would like to obtain new MTA/MCSA/MCSE qualifications.As our company expands further we fully expect that the right candidate would also be mentored toward becoming a service desk manager.How to applyWe do not use Employment agencies, direct applicants only.If you are interested in our position please include:
