Job Description

My client is part of an international group of companies. Located in Wickford, Essex they have a worldwide reach. Established more that 50 years ago the design and manufacture air distribution products and carry out all sheet metal fabrication and powder coating to architectural finishes.Role:

  • Use of Guillotine and press brake
  • Forming and handling thin gauge sheet metals
  • Youll need a basic understanding of technical drawings and be willing to expand of that understanding as time goes on
  • Operate and set sheet metal machinery such as press brakes, spot welders and rolling machines
  • Use press and form tooling
  • Support parts, tooling and process improvements
  • TIG / MIG welding experience is an advantage but not essential
    • You will need:
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in fabrication and welding in a manufacturing / production environment
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • A flexible attitude to meet customer requirements and deadlines
  • To be willing to work overtime if required
  • Be happy to work within a team
  • Prior stainless steel and aluminium TIG welding experience is beneficial but not essential
