Job Description

CNC Machine OperatorLocation: Wickford, Essex, SS11 8YBSalary: Competitive, DOEJob Type: Permanent, Full Time - 37.5 hours per weekShift Rota: All available. 7am - 3pm; 3pm - 11pm & 11pm - 7am (premium paid for 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am shifts)Chester Hall Precision Engineering Limited is now currently recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to join their expanding team based in Wickford, Essex.Using multi-axis, high-speed CNC machine tools, the successful candidate will be responsible for the machining of a full range of aerospace components.The CNC Machine Operator will be required to run 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC machine centres producing machined precision aerospace components.Attributes required:

  • Computer literate - Office based software
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of engineering terminology
  • Able to use various measuring equipment e.g. micrometres
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of running 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC machining centres (at least 1 years’ experience)
  • Knowledge and experience of maintaining CNC machines
