Job Description

We are currently seeking a Account Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Wickford. As an Account Manager your role will be to create long-term, trusting relationships with our Clients customers. You will also overseea portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.Key duties and responsibilities....

  • Maintain all follow ups for the area keeping the pipeline
  • Report monthly on customer spend and product split
  • Taking telephone calls professionally
  • Be a back up for all sales roles in the teams absence
  • Work closely with your dedicated BDM, undertaking required tasks on behalf of the BDM i.e. discount loading, spend reports, proposals, order processing etc.
  • Report any issues that come to attention that may be detrimental to the company
  • Ensure customers are given highest levels of service and maintained as loyal clients
  • Build and develop rapport with your clients over the telephone
  • Endorse growth plans and strategies
Requirements

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

Hours: Mon - Friday 7.30am - 4.30 - (degree of flexibility)Benefits
  • Salary of £30k - £35k (negotiable)
