We need to care about people, and we always like to have a little fun as we do it.More about the Shunter role:Due to expansion we are lookingfor Shunters to ensure the smooth movement of trailers and stock in the yard and around the site.This is a very exciting job opportunity for someone to join a vibrant team and not afraid of multi-taskingHeres what you can expect to be doing as our Shunter:- Working within a fast paced Recycling centre ensuring the safe transportation of trailers around site, your job will also include preparing all trailers to be loaded and ensure it is safe to begin loadinggoods onto the trailer- Weighing of trailers- Transporting trailers around the site- Ensure trailers are secured at all times during loading and unloading- Comply with health and safety requirementsA Few Things About You:Essential - Punctuality- Shunter certificate (HGV preferable)- Must have previous shunting experience, ideally tug trained- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Close attention to detail- Based within a commutable distance of Halesfield, Telford.4-on/4-off continental shift pattern with the worked shifts alternating between day and night. This will be based on working 4 consecutive 12 hour day followed by 4 consecutive days off, then 4 consecutive 12 hour nights.
