Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to assist the current Trust Director of Finance for one of our clients in Normanton. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible until approximately the end of April/beginning of May, with the potentialfor this to go on for a little bit longer. This would be 37 hours, 5 days per week, full year, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4pm. We are looking at a salary range of between £23.05 - £30.23 per hour, depending on the candidate/theirexperience.Duties

To support the preparation of the trust’s annual budget; taking the lead role in developing, setting and compiling the budget using excel spreadsheets & the Trusts budgeting software. Experience of IMP or similar budgeting software would be helpful.
Working with the College leaders, and school leaders and individual budget holders to develop their budgets and ensure they are efficient and an effective use of resources.
To support the work of the Finance Department in performing a range of monthly reporting duties, including reconciliations, VAT returns and payroll reconciliations. Experience of Sage/ sage Intacct would be helpful.
Supporting the finance team on the production of monthly management accounts.
Development and delivery of financial plans, taking into account DfE/EFA funding guidelines.
