Job descriptionOur new clientarea plastics recycling Operation who have adopted a core mission to make recycling part of the supply chain and to optimise its use. They seek to add value and educate their employees and customers about this innovative ethos that they pridethemselves on.They are currently seeking General Operatives to join them on initially a temporary basis but with the chance to earn full time contracts for those who demonstrate capability at their site in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.Tasks and Responsibilities -- Decanting and unloading of plastic goods for processing and recycling- Loading of goods in relevant cages- Material handling- Completion of job sheets where necessary- Assist in general upkeep of the facility in terms of tidiness-Liasewith facility manager to prioritise workload- Any other sensiblework relatedrequest delegated by Supervisory teamIdeal Candidate -- Able to remain focused when completing what can be repetitive tasks- Physically Fit- Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred but not essential- Comfortable working in a team- Reliability and punctuality a must- A forklift licence would be looked upon favourably but not mandatoryThis is an opportunity maybe for somebody between positions or a person looking for their first role to get experience in an industrial environment.Itsfairly straightforwardand the client provide PPE, a canteen, changing rooms and lockers for their employees.They have stated that whilst this is a particular contract you will be working on, they would certainly seek to offer contracts to people who proved reliable andhard workingduring the agency period.Its
