Do you want to be a valued part of the critical infrastructure that serves communities across Europe and beyond Are you looking for a position in which you can set direction and help shape our company If so, then you could be the newest addition to ourteam as Finance Business Partner.Be part of the movement – and play your partAbout the roleThe Finance Business Partner has overall control and responsibility for all business partnering aspects of England Cold Chain activities with an expectation to analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings, with the most profitableoutcomes.You will be responsible for:Provide information and analysis for the BU team, to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position.Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.Ensure that the company financial system is robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.Work with the senior team to grow the business formulating strategies and plans.Ensure the company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, acquisitions, and disposals are met as appropriate.Ensure that the forecast is monitored and revised in conjunction with the Business Unit requirements.Oversee the preparation of the Annual Statutory Accounts and ensure all relevant information requested by the auditors is presented.About youPrimarily, you need to possess strong analytical and numerical abilities, on top of a structured, reliable character, who is proficient in planning, executing and prioritising activities. Possessing effective communication skills, you’ll have the abilityto build and manage strong working relationships with various departments, colleagues, and external parties alike, in a positive, pragmatic, and collaborative way.
