Job Description

Quality driven regional care home operator seeking an experienced home manager for a Good rated nursing home in the North East of England.Bright Selection Ltd are delighted to be recruiting a Nursing Home Manager on behalf of a highly regarded provider for a beautiful nursing home, located in the Whitley Bay area. This home provides high levels of residential and nursing care for up approx50 residents.You will lead a dedicated and highly skilled workforce, be responsible for day to day operational management of the service, ensuring professional and high-quality care for elderly residents.Requirements

  • NVQ L4 Management or equivalent qualification desirable
  • Nurse qualification with valid NMC Pin
  • Experience of successfully managing an older peoples care home
  • Proven ability in budget preparation and control
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation
Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the successful running of the home; providing the highest standards of care and exceeding residents expectations and needs
  • Providing staff with guidance, advice and training
  • Manage and be accountable for the homes income and expenditure budgets
  • Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision
  • Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines
  • Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community
Remuneration
  • Salary offered in the region of £50,000 per annum plus benefits including exceptional annual leave entitlement
