Job Description

Job Title: Training Marketing & Internal Sales Coordinator Location: Reading & Hybrid working (Typically 2 Days onsite and 3 days working from home)Rate: £18.90ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) - (approximately equivalent of £28,000 per annum)Employment Type: Contract (6 Months (potential for permanent role after contract duration)Hours: Standard 36 Hours Per WeekFor over 30 years, our pharmaceutical training business has been a leader in training and developing professionals in the life science sectors. We are dedicated to delivering the most up-to-date training and CPD so individuals can achieve their career aspirationsand companies have the skills they need to excel on the global stage and make a positive difference in the world.About the role:Fantastic opportunity for entry level qualified marketing graduates / marketing candidates with some experience but looking to grow and expand skills within a marketing environment.As a Training Marketing & Inside Sales Co-ordinator candidate will play a key role in implementing and co-ordinating our Pharmaceutical Training Marketing Plan and supporting our internal sales efforts with a focus on driving awareness, engagement and sales.This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of moving to a permanent role, based in our Reading office. The candidate will report to the marketing manager and work closely with the Sales Team and other Internal Stakeholders and our Training Consultants.The candidate will also have the opportunity to interact with External Clients and Partners and attend industry events and conferences.This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where candidates will have the chance to grow and develop their marketing and sales skills and knowledge and contribute to the successof our Pharmaceutical Training Business.Summary of responsibilities:Marketing 70%

  • Contribute and co-ordinate the marketing plan to promote our client’s Pharmaceutical Training & Consultancy business.
  • Create engaging and targeted content for diverse online and offline channels, including social media, email, website and print materials.
  • Co-ordinate production of marketing collateral ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Manage social media channels, engage and build online community and optimise content for maximum reach and impact.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams to organise and execute promotional events, webinars, conferences.
  • Collecting client feedback and testimonials for use in marketing materials.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct market research to identify competitor activity, trends and industry insights.
  • Support Marketing Manager and other colleagues on other activities as required.
Internal Sales Support 30%
  • Assist Sales Team by providing marketing materials, sales collateral and training course information.
  • Respond to client enquiries providing relevant information and prepare quotations.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify customer needs and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects and customers in CRM Dynamics.
  • Support with presentations.

Primary Skills Required:
  • Degree or qualification in marketing e.g. CIM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi task.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Social Media Platforms, Digital platforms, Photoshop, CRM.
  • Positive and proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a Team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge.
Experience Required:
  • Strong experience in marketing role or internship, preferably in pharmaceutical or training business sector.
Additional Experience Preferred:
  • Demonstrate Stakeholder Relationship Management.
  • Working in an events or training environment.
  • Flexible to change.
  • Project Management.
