Job Description

Acme Facilities Group (Blackburn Lancashire) Catering Equipment - Installation Engineer.We are a long established supplier of a diverse range of, Commercial Refrigeration, Catering & HVAC equipment operating nationally. We operate in a competitive sector, but have proven our credentials by providing our customers with a high level of service. Reporting to the Refrigeration Project Manager applications are invited for this role in the busy projects department. The role involves UK travel to various sites with overnight stays.Key duties to include but not limited to:

  1. Responsible for complete and successful installation of catering equipment inside or outside the customer’s premises throughout the UK using the correct skills and tools to do so in a timely manner.
  2. Undertake necessary pipe work and electrical wiring of equipment including ductwork and
and fixing supports.
  1. Ensure that the relevant legislations are adhered to in the installation of catering equipment of varying sizes and functions. Includes mechanical repairs, diagnosing faults and ensuring the equipment is functioning correctly.
  2. Working at height on ladders, scaffolding and mobile platforms to perform the repair and installation of equipment to meet company and customer satisfaction. (Where necessary).
  3. Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customer and other departments.
  4. Ensure Health and Safety is followed at all times and complied with at all times.

  3. Hold and retain the relevant industry recognised qualifications.
  4. Ability to use own initiative/skills/knowledge along with those of the team to deal with situations as they arise.

  6. Ability to prioritise work and reach effective decisions quickly.
  7. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
  8. Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  9. Ability to demonstrate similar expertise.
  10. Ability to demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to succeed , including working away from home.
  11. Holder of a full UK driving licence.
