We are seeking a Band 5 Theatre Nurse for our purpose built unit in the leafy surroundings of SBCH, Hengrove. Our current vacancy is in Theatre/Recovery.If you have theatre experience we would love to hear from you, we are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate, dedicated nurse who want to give the very best care to our patients. There are plenty of training opportunities and many new skills to learn, candidates with previous experience in Scrub and/or Anaesthetics are preferred for theatre.We offer mentorship and an appropriate supernumerary phase, followed by supported practice and can offer development and training in other specialities by sending across to Main hospital at Bristol Royal Infirmary.There is a great community feel among the team here at Day Surgery & Endoscopy Unit, South Bristol Community Hospital in a fresh, bright environment. Shift times include 0730 to 2000, 0800 to 1800 and 0800 to 1615.We have two Theatres with a range of specialities including Maxillary-Facial, Lower GI, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology and Cardiology lists and 2 x Endoscopy suites.The team in DSEU work dynamically across specialities to allow for constant development and engagement.
