SEN Teaching AssistantMilk Education are partnering with a Primary School in the area of Whitby/The North Yorkshire Moors. This rural forest school are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support 2/3 Children across their setting.As the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with children with SEND/SEMH needs. The children willhave an Educational Healthcare Plan (EHCP) and youll be working alongside the school teachers to implement any strategies to support the student tokeep on task, and implement their lesson plans based in the main classroom. Applicants with experience with ASD, Down Syndrome or Hearing Impairments, and further further experience with Makaton or Sign Language are encouraged to apply.This is a long-term role starting after Easter for the remainder of the academic year.What were looking for:

• Have a passion for and previous experience supporting or Teaching children or individuals with additional needs and learning difficulties
• Confidence providing support to students with SEND to help them develop both academically and socially
• Someone with the ability to provide a positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
• Capability to work as part of the team
• Confidence collaborating with Teachers, teaching Assistants and school support staff to create a well-rounded learning environment
