Herb Drying & Production Operator - Full Time, Permanent - Whissonsett near Fakenham, West Norfolk Stangroom Bros Ltd is a family-run farming business which was formed in 1870. Over the years we have expanded to farm large acreages of combinable crops, blackcurrants and herbs.We are currently looking for a proactive and dedicated individual to join our team as a Herb Drying & Production Operator.Salary & Accommodation Assistance:You will earn £27,000 per annum OTE (inc overtime) plus a part subsidised three bedroom brick and flint cottage 300 metres from the Farm Yard or financial allowance towards nearby rented accommodation.The Role:This exciting and varied Herb Drying & Production Operator role will involve operating two flatbed crop driers and associated processing plant to produce bagged herbs on site which will be supplied to the catering trade.During peak season between May and November, overtime will be mandatory where your hours will be based on shift patterns that at times cover 24 hour running. You will have some involvement with the rest of the farming operation throughout the year.Requirements for the Herb Drying & Production Operator:This position would suit a self-motivated individual with experience in food production, however training can be given to the right candidate who is committed and genuinely keen to learn.
