Job Description

We are looking for a Head Chef to join our management team at our newly refurbished pub, located in the quaint village of Whalton just a short a drive from Morpeth and Ponteland.We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic leader, leading from the front with proven capability of developing, managing and motivating kitchen teams. You will be working closely alongside the general manager and company directors to help develop and improvethe business. We want someone thats going to take Northumbrian Pub Grub to the next level so if you think youre up for it, then please send us your CV and Cover letter.The ideal Head Chef will have: At least 2 years experience in a fresh lead kitchen Food Hygiene level 2 Experience running functions The ability to take the lead when necessary and have the experience to ensure the kitchen operation runs smoothly Have a passion for great food and a customer focussed mindset The ability to plan seasonal menus using local suppliers Be honest, dedicated, and hardworking approach Have enthusiasm and take real pride in achieving exceptional results Be adaptable and have a great sense of humour! Be able to maintain consistently exceptional levels of cleanliness Consistently create great food and set an excellent example with our small kitchen team Be patient and Support with developing others in the kitchen team Ambition and drive to keep learning and to succeed Take pride in high standards, ensuring that health and safety procedures are maintained properly Proficient in IT, with an understanding of spread sheetsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £30,000.00-£37,000.00 per yearSupplemental pay types:
