Job Description

SPECIALIST NEURO OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST Are you an experienced band 5 or 6 Occupational Therapist wanting to develop and demonstrate your talent in a state of the art neuro care centreWe are sourcing two Occupational Therapists either working in Kingston-Upon-Thames or Bagshot, Surrey.You will be working in a caring, warm, environment so it goes with saying you will have this ethos at the heart of what you do.A professional package will be offered to their Occupational Therapists

  • Develop your skills in holistic assessment, problem solving and joint working with other health and social care colleagues.
  • Support you to be involved in Occupational Therapy clinical meetings along with MDT.
  • Your remit as an Occupational Therapist The successful applicant will be required to manage a caseload of clients with acquired Brain Injury and Complex needs, using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.Must be able to set up and provide a specialist occupational therapy service with input into planning, development and evaluation of clinical services including documentation, assessment planning tools.To provide training, clinical supervisory leadership to other staff within the multidisciplinary team.To work with the Manager, to be responsible for ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient running of the Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre in accordance with the policies of the centre and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines.Our client requires their Nursing Managers….To be exceptionally organised and natural leaders. You will possess excellent knowledge of working with neurological conditions. Evidence of working with people who have suffered and ABI with rehab would be advantageous.
