Job Description

Join us as an Assistant Relationship Manager in Weybridge, Surrey

  • This is a great opportunity to develop your career profile, as you interact with a wide range of professional property investor and developer clients, supporting our relationships with them
  • You’ll receive valuable support as you develop to help progress and manage a wide-ranging deal flow which typically consists of residential and commercial investment and development finance
  • Were looking for someone with experience of delivering high quality, proactive customer service, ideally with previous real estate experience
Supporting two Relationship Managers, youll interact with our clients - providing a crucial point of contact for their deal progression.In your role you’ll be responsible for:
  • Undertaking quality information gathering and efficiently submitting new applications to lenders
  • Liaising and engaging with the client, lender and professionals (lender and client) through the various stages of the application process
  • Professionally managing client expectations, finding solutions to problems to bring the deal to completion in a timely manner
  • Responsible for completing internal file due diligence
  • Additional supporting functions by way of diary management and meeting coordination for the commercial team
  • Onboarding with new lenders
  • Managing onboarding of new clients in line with KYC criteria
Youll also have the opportunity to manage key client accounts when Relationship Managers are absent, developing your skills. Youll lead by example by upholding our core values and delivering outstanding customer service.You’ll also require:
  • Strong organisational and team-working skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and diligence
  • The ability to maintain a good knowledge of lending products and systems
  • Confidence with managing transactions typically between £500k and £10m in debt size
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a range of audiences and simplify complex terms and concepts
  • A desire to build clear and trusting relationships with a wide variety of clients
  • The ability to use tenacity to see the transaction through to completion with a level of intensity and energy
The role will be office based at the company’s head office in Weybridge, Surrey.
