It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the Role-The candidate will assume responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive solutions addressing information technology requirements in the domains of Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BOFC) and Financial InformationManagement (FIM). This encompasses both new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, applications infrastructure, and the overall management of the IT infrastructure within an organization, with a specific focus on Financial Consolidationand Planning.If you are seeking a chance to lead and develop a team of Tech Service Specialists in Financial Consolidation and Financial Information Management, ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy and compliance standards, then this role is tailor-madefor you.In this position, you will have the opportunity to spearhead key initiatives that advance your professional growth. Some of the responsibilities associated with this role include:-

  • Interact directly with all Tech groups, Business owners/users, external product vendors, data vendors, and offshore support suppliers.
  • Responsible for the management and remediation of any audit or compliance findings per Haleon standards and execution of routine testing of agreed IT Continuity Plans
  • Set and monitor delivery and conduct design reviews with all areas
  • Responsible for the identification and execution of design implementations that will lead to lower cost of ownership for Haleon at the enterprise level
  • Serve as the point of contact ad product manager with the IT Business Partner and IT Delivery teams
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Haleon standard processes are applied and adhered
  • Monitor service performance against service level agreements and produce service reports and escalate as required for business-critical impact
  • Ensure agreed transition processes and schedules are followed to ensure successful introduction of new services or versions of existing services
  • Responsible for development and release process of maintained solutions and applications
  • Lead team in the elimination of support and maintenance costs associated with assets by decommissioning, or consolidating products
  • Negotiate with relevant parties in respect of disruptions and major amendments to the delivery and transition of the product
  • Review service delivery to ensure that agreed targets are met and prepare proposals to meet forecast changes in the level or type of service
  • Liaison with vendors to ensure support services is maintained
  • Set clear direction and objectives by defining and establishing team performance measures and standards
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to the staff
Basic qualifications:
  • 10+years of proficiency in SAP BFC, including application design, development, and maintenance within the BFC framework (Actuals, Plan, Forecast, CAPEX, Statutory)
  • In depth knowledge of financial consolidation processes, methodologies, and best practices, with an understanding of financial reporting and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in integrating data from diverse sources into SAP BFC and understanding of integrating SAP FC with other financial systems including SAP BW and ECC
  • Strong programming skills in SQL is a must
  • Ability to configure and customize SAP BFC according to specific consolidation requirements, including dimension management, data validation checks, formulas, and business rules.
  • Proficiency in developing financial reports and data collection schedules in SAP BFC
  • Must have FIM and Cube Designer knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, finance teams, and other IT professionals involved in the consolidation process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Capable of working effectively in large, complex cross functional teams, capable of building relationships across different stakeholders and functional groups
  • Solution oriented and problem solving
  • Dynamic, flexible, team player and result drivenand flexibility to work across different time-zones.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in the areas of SAP BO FC , FIM , Cube designer and BW.
  • Experience in working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and waterfall delivery models
  • A prerequisite for this role is proficiency in Corporate consolidation, and an additional advantage would be prior experience in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge and experience of ITIL based service management practices
  • Experience working with Six Sigma/Lean Sigma processes and tools
  • Knowledge of service operations, processes, service delivery, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Understanding of business area strategic goals, processes and workflow, and of the IT tools deployed
  • Familiar with the concepts, standards, technology, tools, processes, procedures, hardware, software and services in use for delivering information services
  • Staff management and development
  • Understanding of emerging technologies including ML, AI, IoT and Blockchain is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager
  • Certification in SAP Financials, S/4 HANA is a plus
