Job Description

Adecco UK are currently seeking committed and Safety conscious staff to work with one of our most prestigious transport provider clients as a Gate line Assistant.Stations available: Weybridge, Brookwood or WokingOngoing contract: Part time and full time available - Flexible shift patternsStart Date: ASAPWhat you will be doingGate line Assistants provide a First-class service to our customers whilst ensuring their safety at all times.They Pro-actively seek to help customers through clear communication to pass through the station whilst effectively managing the Automatic Gates.You will often be the first and last person our customers meet on their journey, therefore your role as gate line assistant is vital in upholding the safety and service to all customers. You may be required at times to undertake roles such as bus replacement,crowd control and ticket checking.Responsibilities. Effectively operate the gates ensuring the safety of all who pass through them.. Delivering excellent customer service by responding to customer enquiries as quickly and efficiently as possible.. Report any incidents and undertake measures to ensure the safety of the station.. Undertake ticket checks and pass any irregularities to Revenue Protection.. Wear uniform and I.D badge when working on shift and travelling to and from that shiftExperience

  • Strong background in Customer Service
  • Effective communication and excellent listening skills are required.
  • Good written communication skills are required to aid you in producing reports.
Training will be given in all aspects of the role.*Training will be delivered via online training modules and classroom-based training with a Gate line assessment once you have been shown the set up. You will be paid for the training, and you will receive this once you have worked your first 5 shifts.
