With 6 brands under its portfolio (several of which are undergoing rebrands) and exciting expansion plansfor the years ahead we are looking for a passionate Events and Marketing Executive to come on board.Reporting to the CEO in this position the Events and Marketing Executive will get to own, organise and deliver all the events for the company and its client base.Events Coordinator Overview:The Events Coordinator is key to supporting and organisation of the events programme, this includes dealing with both corporate and private clients and events can range from conferences, seminars, parties, drinks receptions, celebrations and any other eventsdetermined by the business and its client base.Work with key stakeholders and clients (internal and external) to define objectives of events, managing the entire lifecycle, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, supplier liaison and sourcing and post-eventanalysis and aftercare.Ensuring all events are communicated effectively to the business and the wider audience, ensuring that the event is maximised and that opportunities for collaboration are harnessed as much as possible.Take full ownership of the running of the events and being fully present on event days. Be the project lead across all events, delivering an immersive experience for attendees and hitting required goals from internal stakeholders.Drive events awareness and revenue using marketing and social media tools, ensuring new and existing clients are aware that bespoke events can be fully handled and organised.This is a rare opportunity for an individual to really own, shape and develop the events function of this business. Typical events range from 30 to 200 people so having experience in events organisation and ownership on similar numbers with both corporateand private clients would be a strong advantage to this position. What’s in your DNAHave experience in running in-person events with both corporate and private clients would be a strong advantage to the position.Excellent team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.Exceptional organisational, work-load prioritisation and time management skills - with great attention to detail.Experience of promotional marketing of events through social media and other channels would be a string advantage to the roleStrong planning and project management experience (essential).Experience working with external suppliers and service providers.Ability to work on a number of tasks simultaneously and to deadlines.Self-motivated and pro-active.Good negotiating skills.Initiative to problem-solve.Be flexible as by events nature, the role will involve managing events outside of normal working hours
