Job Description

On behalf of a well-established boutique accountancy practice, we are recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to undertake audit and accounts preparation assignments along with associated tax work for limited companies, LLPs and partnerships. The firm has both an international and UK client base.This highly progressive firm is looking for an ambitious person with at least 2 years’ experience of working in a varied practice role which would have included assisting on numerous audit assignments.As Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensure it appropriately addresses audit objectives
  • Take an active part in the audit planning and field work
  • Complete all aspects of audit fieldwork from start to completion
  • Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
  • Preparation of the statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
    • We welcome applications from people who satisfy the following requirements:
  • AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA student
  • At least two years’ experience working within practice is essential
  • Experience in statutory audit work
  • Significant accounts preparation experience
  • Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
