Assistant Service Manager – Elmbridge and Runneymede Community£22,725 per annum + benefitsWelmede, part of the Avenues Trust Group, is a specialist provider of adult social care, supporting people with complex needs to enjoy life.We are looking for a full time Assistant Service Manager to join our team in Elmbridge and Runnymede which covers Walton on Thames, Weybridge, Chertsey, Addlestone, Englefield Green and Egham. The role is to assist the management across the services.Elmbridge and Runneymede is a mixture of supported living services and supporting individuals within their own homes. Across the community we provide support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. Within the community services, our focus is promoting independence for the people, with support to access the local community, support with finances, shopping, cooking, accessing activates such as work/voluntary work and to support with health needs.In this role you will be working closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to provide high quality of care and support. To maintain good communication between the service manager/staff team for the smooth running of the homes, acting as a role model in the delivery of active support Promote and maintain person centred approach and inclusive community links. This position will include the responsibility for the management and coordination of the support hours within both services alongside providing day to day support to the people we support.Both of our services operate 24/7, 365 days a year and you will be flexible to cover early mornings, late evenings, office admin work and sleep ins.Due to the nature of this position it is essential for applicants to hold a full valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle with business insurance.
