Job Description

Supply Early Years PractitionerLocation: WetherbyAre you passionate about early childhood education and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young children We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Supply Early Years Practitioners in Wetherby.Responsibilities:

  • Engage in age-appropriate activities that foster the physical, social, and intellectual development of children.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning through play.
  • Support the planning and implementation of a variety of educational activities.
  • Observe and assess childrens progress, providing feedback to regular staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the well-being and development of each child.
  • Maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in early childhood education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children in an early years setting.
  • Understanding of child development and the ability to implement age-appropriate activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different working environments and work as part of a team.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations in early years settings.
