CNC Miller/ProgrammerPerm role, Salary up to £35k pa DOE, Days, Mon-ThursWETHERBYInteraction Recruitment are looking for an experienced CNC Miller/Programmer to join the expanding Precision Machining team of one of their Engineering/Manufacturing clients based in Wetherby. Immediate starts available, permanent from day 1.The successful candidate must be Apprentice Trained or come from a Mechanical Engineering background. Other key requirements include:-Ability to program from scratch-Experience of working with HAAS controlled machines would be beneficial-Experience with 3-axis and 4-axis Milling Machining Centres-Make and set your own Jigs and Fixtures-Working out Speeds and Feeds-Selecting the correct tooling for each job-Knowledge of machining with a variety of metals would be advantageous-Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers and MicrometresDay to day duties of this role include:-Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling Machining Centres-Machining to high standards-Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling-Managing your work schedule-Self inspecting all manufactured components-Adhering to all company Quality and H&S StandardsCompany perks: Death in service, cycle to work scheme, regular overtime paid at x1.5 rate.
