ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT HARROGATE£25,000 - £28,000 + BENEFITS CURRENTLY WORKING FROM HOME IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS AVAILABLETHE OPPORTUNITY:Get Recruited is working exclusively with an Industry leading retail design and manufacturing business. Theyre looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join a small accounts team of 3 and work closely with the Finance Manager. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the day to day transnational accounts and will also help the finance manager complete the month end close. The company are easily accessible from locations such as Wetherby, Tadcaster, East Rigton, Bramham, Oxton, Walshford, Harewood DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:· Assisting in the preparation of management accounts on a timely basis. · Preparation of month end and other journals, preparing balance sheet reconciliations including accruals and prepayment schedules. · Providing information for both external, and internal, annual audits and assist as required. · Ensuring all invoices are returned in a timely manner for payment · Maintaining purchase ledgers including creating new supplier accounts, deleting obsolete records, regular checks on log and ledger balances · Reconciling supplier statements · Preparing BACs payments The successful candidate should be AAT qualified with at least 2 years industry experience at this level ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
