Job Description

Who: Creative Events BusinessWhat: Administrator with finance duties (1 year fixed term contract)Where: Wetherby, parking on siteWhen: Monday to Friday, 09:00 -17:30Salary: Up to £25,000You: Are organised and passionate with a great eye for detailAre you a process driven, admin whizz who is looking to work within a creative environmentIf this sounds like you, this is the opportunity youve been waiting for…What are they looking for We are partnering with a fantastic creative events business to find them a Finance Administrator to join their team on a fixed term contract. Now, as much as this is only a fixed term position at this stage, the way the team is growing, there is absolutelythe opportunity to be able to become permanent if the role for you arises - they never like to let good people go!You will be working as part of the Finance team to ensure all the administration duties are completed in a timely manner such as inputting invoices onto the system, clearing them for payment, setting clients up on the system with the correct details, followingup payments, creating invoices and liaising with clients.If you like to stay busy then this is the role for you as once all finance duties are completed, this is when you can be proactive in helping the wider team with anything required to help make sure all events run to schedule without a hitch.Want to work in a creative environment, in amazing, themed offices not quite like anything youve seen before, with a team that keeps a family feel and has its own social events throughout the year Then you really dont want to miss this opportunity!What can I say Ill be doing

  • Inputting invoices onto the system, checking the balances and clearing for payment
  • Setting clients up on the system (Sage Line 50)
  • Daily raising of invoices
  • Processing of receipts
  • Liaise with clients as needed, including checking when payment will be made ahead of the scheduled event
  • Assisting with the wider team in administration duties
Sounds great so far, do I have the right key skills for it
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Excel
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Process driven mentality
  • Experience of purchase ledger is ideal but not necessary
