(Production part approval process)Key Responsibilities and Tasks

PerformQuality Assurance to deliver and maintain both customer and supplier quality requirements.

Help to ensure all measuring instrumentation are periodically calibrated within their required frequency intervals.

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & able to assist in external audits from the accrediting body

The day to day use of Coordinate Measuring Machines

Other component & general assembly inspection uding (calipers, micrometers, slip gauges, height gauges, plug and ring gauges, depth gauges, thread gauges, surface finish measuring equipment)

Final Product Function Testing

Supporting the quality process documentation (A working knowledge of PPAP is essential)

Writing Non-Conformance Reports

About You

Experience within Quality Inspection

Any candidate wishing to apply should have working knowledge of PPAP.

Conversant with inspection and measurement tools / instruments

Must have excellent report writing skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

Excellent organisational skills

Can read and understand engineering drawings
