Job Description

We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and qualified TECHNICIAN to join a quality independent service and repair business, 5 miles from Weston-super-Mare.To be considered you should hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent). You should be experienced in the role. You will need to demonstrate a well-developed skillset enabling you to undertake a range of procedures, unsupervised, within agreed timescales and to a good quality standard, including:

  • Servicing in line with manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Clutch and dual mass flywheel replacements
  • Cambelt replacements
  • General maintenance (both preventative and routine)
  • General repairs (both major and minor)
  • Fault diagnosis
    • Ideally your experience will extend to a wide range of brands and models. MOT testers qualification would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement.You must hold a full UK Driving Licence.This family-owned business has been operating successfully for over 25 years, building a great local reputation. They offer a pleasant working set-up within a happy and mutually supportive team environment.Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 5.30 (with an hour for lunch).
