Protocol Education are seeking Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work within a Primary School in the Weston area.This role will be to start from Janaury within the schools Nursery class on a full time basis, with the role needed on a fixed term basis. The school is very welcoming, and has achieved excellent results previously. They will be very supportive and provide great progression for the right person.The ideal qualified practitioner will be able to engage with children of all ages from 6 months Pre-school age and most importantly have a can do attitude. You will be confident working with babies and young children and have a calm and nurturing approach.Key responsibilities of Qualified Practitioner:Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to developPlan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school Supervise mealtimes Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of childrenWork in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the childrenMake accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual childrenQualified Practitioners must have: • Level 3 Qualification (NNEB, CACHE or NVQ).• Experience working or in placement with children, ideally in an Early Years setting (Nursery, Pre-School, Childrens Centre, Reception class)If this interests you, please apply now.Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education.
