Learning Support Assistant 1:1 Weston-Super-Mare- Part-Time (Potential for Full-Time)-Term time only + 5 inset days-Suitable for a Teaching Assistant or LSA with SEN experienceA primary school in North Somerset is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join their SEN (Special Educational Needs) team. The successful candidate will support primary students with their emotional and social well-being, be flexible, patient and nurturing towards the children. You will also support students who have additional needs or SEN i.e. autism, ADHD, dyslexia/dyspraxia and global delay. This role will involve working closely with the SENCO, Classroom teacher and a supportive team of Teaching Assistants.The successful candidates will be strong team players expected to work under the direction of the class teacher to support the child. Experience of working in a school and having a good understanding of how to support children with Special Educational Needs is essential.
