Java / .Net Core Developer: GWT Google Web Toolkit, JavaScript (Angular / React), AWSAre you an experienced Java Developer who would be interested in a unique opportunity to move over to the latest Microsoft Technologies (.Net Core) while maintaining your salary level and seniority If so, this could be the perfect opportunity foryou!Please note: I am also recruiting for a number of Java / JVM / Kotlin roles in the South West so even if this isnt right for you but you are interested in new opportunities, please do send me your CV regardless with details of what yourelooking for.My client are going through a transitional period migrating their tech stack from Java to .Net Core, and are looking for someone from a Java development background to come in and maintain the existing estate while they invest in you to teach / upskill you in .Net Core before eventually having you move over to become a fully-fledged .Net Core Dev.The organisation has a small start-up feel, you will be able to get to know most people in the business very quickly and have visibility and engagement with senior leadership, but at the same time they are backed by a much larger organisation, offering thestability, investment and career opportunities (local, national and even international) of a much larger organisation.They are looking to take on several positions and while they are ideally looking at people in the £40,000 - £60,000pa range they will also consider up to £70,000pa for the right person. Their offices are based just off the M5 near Weston Super-Mare, but you will be offered flexibility to work from home 3-4 days per week.Essential Skillset / Experience- Solid commercial Java Experience- SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL)Desirable Skillset / Experience- JavaScript (ideally any modern frameworks such as React / Angular)- GWT - Google Web Toolkit- AWS- Microservices Architecture- RESTful APIs- C# / ASP.Net / .Net Core- NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, CosmosDB, ElasticSearch etc)- Android / iOS development could be useful but would not be a requirement within the roleIf you meet the above requirements and would like to find out more about this opportunity, please reply with an up to date CV ASAP as they are looking to move very quickly with this role.
