We are recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Manager for our client in the logistics division of their business based near to Weston Super Mare. The role will involve overseeing continuous improvement projects across the sector, improving efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and promote a changing culture within the business.The ideal person will have:- Experience of delivering continuous improvement projects within logistics / transport / warehouse areas of operation.- The ability to estimate costs for implementation of projects.- Excellent communication skills in order to influence change across the business sector.- Experience of identifying areas for business improvement.- A very good eye to detail and excellent communication skills.- Great knowledge of Microsoft Office package such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.Duties will include but will not be limited to:- Planning, managing and coordinating projects.- Develop and maintain monthly reports showing implementation of performance and improvement.- Review procedures, processes and inefficiencies within the business and consider cost-effective solutions.- Conduct or attend production or efficiency meetings with area line management to analyse shift results regarding Health and Safety, production targets, quality and training requirements.- Ensure internal and external quality audits are prepared and completed.- Collaborating with other personnel to implement procedures, systems, and standards of operation throughout the business.This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established company with a strong reputation in their sector.The role will be Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week for which our client is willing to pay up to £37,000 per annum.Disclaimer:This vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource Managers Limited, Advanced Resource Managers IT Limited or Advanced Resource Managers Engineering Limited ("ARM").
