An organisation that places a strong emphasis on the value of employees and have created a fantastic working environment with genuine opportunities for career development and progression.”Content EditorSalary: £17,000pa DOELocation: Outskirts of Weston-Super-MareThe Content Editor writes articles and step-by-step Troubleshooter scripts that enable non-technical people to resolve technical problems and find the answer to general device queries.The role requires the content editor to have an excellent command of English, the ability to answer a complex question in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, and an excellent understanding of the companies editing tools and software.The tools will be used on both agent and customer facing platforms.What youll do as a Content Editor

  • Create new content in response to:
  • New product releases
  • Client requests and feedback
  • Social media queries (forums, twitter etc.)
  • Call drivers
  • Own or other’s experience (I wonder if…)
  • Ensure that the customer’s question brings up the right answer (training) within A2
  • Review existing articles and troubleshooter scripts content on a regular basis
  • Review and update content in response to feedback
  • Build daily A2 releases to deploy any changes into production
  • Skills youll have
  • Good grasp of spelling and grammar with a minimum of a B grade in English at GSCE or equivalent
  • Clear writing style
  • Ability to explain complex or verbose processes clearly and without ambiguity
  • Image and text creation in a drawing program (Photoshop, Fireworks, Gimp)
  • Basic HTML
  • The ability to understand and answer the question the customer is asking
  • What youll bring
  • Technical inquisitiveness and a desire to work something out individually
  • Interest in technology, particularly mobile and handheld devices
  • Solves problems in a methodical manner based on evidence and not assumption
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
