Job Description

Parts Manager. Monday to Friday, £38-45k, Westloughton, BoltonAre you a people person with a knack for problem-solving and a drive to ensure exceptional serviceIn this pivotal role as the Parts Manager, youll wear many hats – a leader, a customer champion, and an operational mastermind – all with the goal of keeping the business humming along smoothly.As the Parts Manager heres a glimpse into your day-to-day:

  • Lead the Charge:Youll foster a supportive and collaborative environment, guiding and motivating your small team of parts personnel and planners to achieve outstanding results
  • Customer Focus is Key:Building strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external customers is vital. Youll ensure everyone receives the parts and accessories they need, promptly and efficiently.
  • Inventory Guru:Keeping stock levels of parts optimised is crucial. Youll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring minimal backorders and maximum efficiency.
  • Streamline and Optimise:Identifying and implementing best practices is your forte. Youll ensure the efficient processing of stock cleanses and supplier purchases, keeping things running like clockwork.
  • Investing in People:Sharing your knowledge and expertise is key. Youll provide guidance and training to new staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
  • Safety First:Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations is paramount. Youll champion a safe working environment for everyone.
The Parts Manager role could be yours if you
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Have managed or supervised a small team of people
  • Can hit the ground running with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
  • Are a whizz with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Boast strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Can build positive relationships and fosters teamwork at all levels.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points. (Bonus points if youre comfortable with occasional travel within the UK!)
