Job Description

You may be involved in supporting people with the following activities:

  • Cooking and cleaning
  • Elements of personal care
  • Managing finances
  • Accompanying PWS in their mobility vehicles (driving licence required)
  • Attending Drs/ hospital appointments or supporting with medication

Experience isn’t required as full training is provided, however, you should be able to demonstrate you are able to show genuine compassion and integrity - treating people with dignity and respect is essential.You will also be able to work independently, on a 1:1 basis and as part of a team, understanding that each person has their own unique needs, and understand that at times there can be behaviour that is challenging.For this service having a driving licence is essential as you will be responsible for accompanying the people we support in their own vehicles.In return for your hard work you will receive first class training plus the following:
  • 20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part time), which increases after 3 and 5 years’ service
