Junior Quality Assurance Engineer - WesterhamME Recruits are working with a leading innovative manufacturing and production company, who are seeking a methodical and attentive Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dedicated Quality team.As a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer (JQAE), your role in the Quality Department is crucial for inspecting and verifying products. It is a varied, hands on role, working closely with the Senior Quality Engineer, auditing production processes and helping managenon-conforming products. Strong communication skills are essential for reporting key findings through detailed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).General duties will cover:Goods Inspection:Evaluate products for acceptability using visual, dimensional, and functional criteria.Ensure timely inspection and release of goods.Maintain a well-organized Goods Receiving area.Auditing:Audit production activities to ensure quality standards are met.Report any discrepancies in working standards.Measurement Reports:Program the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for measurements.Run programs for sample approval and inspections.Report measurement deviations for investigation.General Quality Support:Assist in the PPAP process for timely progress.Support the QA engineering team.Participate in quality department stock takes.Additional Duties:Take on new tasks within the roles scope.Identify and report issues.Contribute to problem-solving.As a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer you are curious with an analytical mindset, passionate about learning your craft, pragmatic when it comes to problem solving and technology, with excellent attention to detail.
