Job Description

Recruiting for a Junior Smart Technology EngineerThis role would suit a graduate in Electronics, Embedded Firmware, Software, App or similar engineering discipline and will give the user an excellent basis to build a great career from. Suitable training and opportunities to progress will be given.Main Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibility is to support the Smart Technology team and wider product development teams by supporting all software and hardware development and testing activities:

  • Development and testing of electronics, embedded firmware, App and voice systems used within a range of showering and shower control devices, to ensure the product responds and operates as expected.
  • Participate in the development of electronics, firmware and / or App including IoT technologies, including creating and managing associated documentation.
  • Test and fault find new and existing products to ensure they perform correctly and to specification.
  • Perform and support devising of suitable test procedures and plans for hardware, firmware, software and IoT
  • Research and explore of new technologies to drive our development of Smart products forward and help us becoming a leader in this sector.
Personal Skill / Competencies
  • Graduate in Electronics, Embedded Firmware, Software or App development with a good understanding of the key disciplines required - Electronics, Firmware and Software
  • A good understanding of electromechanical assemblies, automation
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • A logical thinker and good problem solver.
