Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but were looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit theneeds of the business. Filled with incredible history, the gardens at Chartwell and Emmetts Garden are an absolute joy throughout the year. Chartwell was the much-loved Churchill family home and the place from which Sir Winston drew inspiration from 1924 until the end of his life and draws visitors from around the world. Emmetts Garden is an Edwardian plantsmans paradise with a shrub collectionfrom around the world, and it attracts families, dog walkers and horticultural experts alike. Quebec House is a beautiful Georgian mansion that requires ongoing maintenance and work to protect the incredible collection, and you would support all of these sites. You are supported by a strong and knowledgeable Facilities Coordinator to ensure you succeed in the role. More information about these locations can be found here Chartwell | National Trust Emmetts Garden | National Trust and Quebec House | National Trust What youll be doing As the Facilities Assistant, youll assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation the National Trusts buildings and outdoor spaces. Youll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor maintenance ensuring all our facilities arekept in good working order. Youll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries.Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter picking will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors. Youll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a customer comes first attitude.
