Are you an engaging PSHE teacher on the lookout for an exciting new teaching positionWould you like to work in an outstanding grammar school from SeptemberTradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a larger than average secondary school and sixth form in South East Essex, who are seeking a PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic) Teacher to join their welcoming team from September. The successful PSHE Teacher will have the pleasure of working in a high achieving grammar school, where students achieve academic excellence and develop exceptional personal qualities.Although the school achieves very well when compared to others nationally, this outstanding grammar school continues to progress and identify areas of improvement through a sophisticated tracking system. Students are proud to be part of the school, they have excellent attitudes towards learning and exemplary behaviour.Initially the role will be for the 2020/2021 academic year at least working on either a fixed term contract or long term supply basis. Following a successful assignment, the role could be extended or made permanent. You will be paid in line with your current pay scale, ranging from M1 (£24,373) to M6 (£35,971). Parking is available on site and nearby, with several main stations located a short distance from the school. The successful PSHE Teacher will be:Able to confidently deliver considered and sensitive lessons up to KS3 and KS4 students on topics such as puberty, crime, drugs, mental health, relationships, personal safety and disability.A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the PSHE curriculum.To be successful in this PSHE Teaching role you will:Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.Have the legal right to work in the UK.Click Apply Now to be considered for this exciting PSHE teaching position.
