The team at Southend University Hospital are currently looking for an experienced Band 5 physiotherapist ready to take the next step and develop with us into a competent and confident Band 6 or an existing Band 6 Physiotherapist looking for a new challenge within the Inpatient Acute Ward setting.We are a supportive therapy team looking to recruit a physiotherapist with a broad range of experience in core rotations, to join our team. The role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team on the acute inpatient wards.The rotations at Southend Hospital offer the opportunity to gain experience in the following areas:FrailtySurgery - including amputee rehabOncologyCritical CareAcute Respiratory Care UnitRespiratory OutpatientsThe role offers opportunities to develop clinically and managerially within a friendly and supportive environment. Training and clinical development opportunities are available, with support to attend recognised courses within the area of your rotation to support your development in addition to providing comprehensive in-service training and regular clinical supervision. We will also support the development of your skills in appraisal management and leadership skills with relevant courses.Our Band 7 Team Leaders are highly experienced in their fields, providing support and training opportunities for personal development. The role includes the supervision of students from University of Essex and University of Hertfordshire and the mentoring of Band 5 Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants.
