Catering Assistant Acorn is seeking multiple Catering Assistants to work within the NHS in Horfield. There are multiple exciting roles which will give individuals with experience in catering the chance to develop their skills and to gain experience within the NHS. Ideally, you will have a Food Hygiene certificate and experience within catering. A DBS would also be an advantage. Responsibilities: * Preparing a variety of Salads and sandwiches and plating prior to food service. * Preparing work stations in preparation for food service * Cleaning of large items e.g. ovens * Washing of plates and utensils * Loading and unloading of equipment when required * Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and other relevant legislation at all times * Cleaning of premises including floors, walls, sinks etc.Person Specification: * Relevant catering experience * Ability to work well within a team * Flexibility with work patterns and availability * Self-motivated and can use own initiative * Good basic literacy and numeracyThere are both Ad-hoc shifts, and full time temporary positions available depending on candidate availability. The full-time positions will be 37.5 hours a week working 8AM-16:00AM running for 2 Months. Both roles pay £8.92 per hour. Required skills
