Job Description

Our client is a superb business, based in between Leeds and Bradford. They are experiencing strong and continued growth and are looking to add to their Vehicle Support & Maintenance team, for the right candidate to offer excellent levels of customer serviceand support for customers. You will be a key point of contact for customers and also for vehicle manufacturers to drive and maintain standards. We are looking for candidates who have worked within a similar Car, Vehicle Service or maintenance related roleand environment, possibly within a Dealership or workshop. This role is fully office based and is near a train station but a driver and car owner would be easier.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working within a small busy team, you will be involved with assessing service or mechanical reports, ensuring accuracy and feasibility
  • Working within contractual agreements and keeping customers aware of these
  • Responsible for booking vehicle maintenance, services etc and communicating time frames with customers
  • Authorising MOTs and repairs being aware of contractual obligations
  • Liaising with Dealerships and with customers
  • Negotiating with suppliers, ensuring cost savings are met where possible
  • Effectively managing and supporting with customer complaints
For this role, we are looking for candidates who have Vehicle knowledge and can assess the above reports with ease. A team player with excellent communication skillsExperience required:
  • Strong experience gained within a similar role, either within a Dealership or vehicle workshop
  • A positive team player with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance or service
  • Strong commercial awareness, able to see and suggest areas for improvement
  • Able to work within a fast paced environment
  • Strong relationship building skills
