Unix Administrator (Access Provisioning)BankingHybrid: Remote / 2 days onsite in either Halifax or Manchester6 monthsDay Rate ContractMid-level Unix Administrator required to join the cyber division of a large, retail bank in provisioning access for users via their Identity and Access Management tool.No IAM experience is necessary but this will be a great opportunity to get an enterprise IAM tool in your skillset - CyberArk.JOB DETAILSThe successful candidate will join the Unix Database & Midrange Systems team as a Unix and Midrange Analyst responsible for the delivery of critical access provisioning, compliance related tasks, project and risk support. CORE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Work as an integral member of a team of analysts supporting logical access through incident, change and access requests to critical banking systems across Unix, Database & Midrange server estate. Manage requestors and customers, ensuring all queries and requests are handled. Support the "end to end" assurance of coverage across all identity & access control areas (including privileged access management, recertification and provisioning) for managed applications and supporting Infrastructure. Support the compliance of SOX, ITEC and other internal standards. Support programs and projects improving the overall experience of colleagues across the bank. Contribute to the management of risks to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained. Support essential out of hours activities across planned change and on-call schedules. KEY CAPABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. Experience in working within small to medium sized teams delivering enterprise-scale operations. Some experience working in Identity & Access Management or an IT Security-related function would be beneficial but not essential. Experience working with one or more areas of IT infrastructure - Unix (Red Hat, HPUX, AIX, Solaris), Oracle Databases, F5, ISERIES AS400, Unisys and Tandem HP Non-Stop. Working knowledge of IT service delivery toolsets, policies and standards. Understanding of risk management principles. Strong Quality / Service Focus. Demonstrates effective approach to problem solving and solution implementation. Can effectively operate in a complex, large scale and diverse environment. Articulate with good verbal and written communication. Demonstrates strong values and behaviours at all times. Ability to effectively communicate I.T. topics and build confidence. I.T. certifications desirable.
