Job Description

Social Worker - Duty and Assessment - £40/hr Nonstop Care is working with a local authority that is looking for an experienced social worker to join their Duty and Assessment Team in West Yorkshire.This role involves holding a short-term caseload which relieves you of court work, allowing you to concentrate on your assignments with swift resolution, increasing your job satisfaction.This position will also provide you with hybrid working, providing you with more time and flexibility on each case. This allows you to focus on delivering the highest quality care to children and families, all while enjoying a healthier work-life balance!Benefits:

Your Responsibilities:
  • To conduct assessments for families assigned to the authority, focusing on children and their well-being.
  • To adhere to the local authoritys protocols and legal requirements when providing support for children and/or families and caregivers.
  • To deliver a proficient and successful service to children, adolescents, and their families, guaranteeing that the requirements of both the children and their parents or caregivers are expertly evaluated, and appropriate interventions are promptly administered
Requirements:
  • Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
  • Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users safety and well-being
  • Post-qualified experience across assessment and/or child protection
  • Clear, Enhanced DBS
  • Must drive and have access to own vehicle
