The business has operational sites across UK and Ireland and is looking to double in size in the next five years.About the RoleA newly created Legal Counsel role, reporting into the General Counsel in a lean team. Working closely with senior leadership and different internal stakeholders, you will work on company acquisitions and integrations, corporate structuring, complex commercialcontracts negotiations and risk advisory matters across the business. As an agile in-house counsel, you will horizon scan for any compliance and regulatory developments affecting the business and support the development of its internal processes accordingly.On an ad hoc basis, you will assist on varied employment law, corporate governance and internal training matters as required. This role involves largely remote working, but will involve occasional visits to UK operational sites, particularly around Yorkshireand the north of England.About YouYou will be E&W qualified lawyer with experience in corporate M&A support and broad commercial contracts exposure. The business will consider lawyers with in-house and private practice experience. With at least three years PQE (as a guide only), you willbe able to turn your hand to various ad hoc matters across commercial, risk and other generalist matters.
